Greystones Tidy Towns at work

This community archive traces the history of Rathdown, Wicklow’s ancient hidden heartland, from earliest occupation by Stone Age hunter-gatherers through to the present day, with the establishment of Rathdown Heritage Park. Here you can browse through photos, maps, memories, stories and historical information related to the subject.

This community archive is created by volunteers from Greystones Tidy Towns. We’re committed to fostering ownership and pride in all aspects of our environment. Greystones Tidy Towns is a member of the Irish Community Archive Network and this website has been developed in partnership with Wicklow County Council and the National Museum of Ireland through the Irish Community Archive Network
